Volunteers and donations needed for the 2004 Great Tree Canopy Comeback.

On November 6th, 2004, the Friends of the Park, the Fort Wayne Park Department and countless volunteers will plant about 160 trees in five Fort Wayne Parks. So if you have time, grab a shovel, a few of your friends and come on out to help. And if you prefer writing a check to swinging a shovel, please consider buying a tree. They are 80 dollars each and make a great gift or memorial. Either way, your help will be greatly appreciated.

To find out more or volunteer your time, please call Tina Scavo at 625-5449 or print and mail in the registration form. To buy a tree, print the form and mail it with a check made payable to “Friends of the Parks” to Tina Scavo, 11020 Carnoustie Lane, Fort Wayne, IN 46814. You will help make Fort Wayne a better place for decades to come.
